Brevis/Nikon 24mm f2.8

BNCR mount Brevis adapter

Brevis / BNCR superspeed 25mm f1.4

Just a few useful notes on the Brevis adapter:
Cameras that can be used without the flip unit:
Panasonic ??? some models can electronically flip the screen.
Sony Z1.. provided the screen is kept at an angle of 20deg or so off horz, it will remain upside down.
I just use an external monitor, upside down.

If you're shooting "non-flipped" with a Canon XH-A1, XL1 or XL2, Sony EX1, or JVC HD100, it needs a 72mm spacer ring between the HD anchromat and Brevis body, Brevis supply a 20mm ring but any 72mm threaded tube will do, eg a number of old filter rings or streight 72mm hood.

Any long macro extension tube around 25-30mm long can be used as a lens mount, provided it's barrel is 59-60mm in diameter. Eg picture on the right uses a 3rd party Nikon extension tube, and is a slightly better/tighter fit than the Cinevate model.
The lower picture is a Z1/Brevis35/BNCR lens set-up! Cinevate don't make one, I modified a PS Teknic BNCR mount with a custom Brevis fit.
Unfortunatly most wide movie lenses, eg Canon K35s don't cover the Brevis' comparitvly large screen, and you have to zoom in to get past the vignetting.

Brevis Lens supports:
A Tripod Mount Ring For Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 (about £6 on e-bay) will fit just in front of the lens support grub screws, or at a push (and a longer tightening screw) it will go around the carbon fibre body. (PS the pictures were taken before mine arrived !).
